Hayden Panettiere, a celebrated actor renowned for her roles in the television series “Heroes” and “Nashville,” as well as the “Scream” franchise, has passed away at the age of 36. Her representative confirmed the news, though the cause of death remains undisclosed. Her father, Skip Panettiere, fondly remembered her as “an incredible light and a force of nature” who spread love and joy to everyone around her.

Panettiere’s acting journey began in childhood, initially appearing in commercials before lending her voice to Dot in the animated film “A Bug’s Life.” Her career continued to flourish with roles in notable films such as “Remember the Titans” and “Tiger Cruise.” However, her breakthrough came at the age of 17 when she gained international recognition portraying Claire Bennet in the popular TV series “Heroes,” which aired from 2006 to 2010.

Following her success on “Heroes,” Panettiere took on the role of Juliette Barnes, a country music star, in the TV series “Nashville.” Her performance garnered critical acclaim, earning her two Golden Globe nominations. The show also highlighted her musical talents, with several of her recordings for the series making their way onto the Billboard country music charts.

Panettiere also made her mark on the big screen as Kirby Reed in “Scream 4,” a role she reprised in the 2023 release of “Scream VI.” Despite her professional achievements, Panettiere faced personal challenges, which she openly discussed. She candidly shared her experiences with addiction, recovery, and postpartum depression. Earlier this year, she published a memoir titled “This Is Me: A Reckoning,” where she delved deeper into her personal journey.

Hayden Panettiere leaves behind her parents and her daughter, Kaya Klitschko, as her enduring legacy continues to inspire many.
