Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, addressing the European Parliament in Strasbourg, expressed strong support for the EU’s proposal, emphasizing the benefits of enhanced collaboration in areas such as critical minerals, energy security, and digital trade. While not seeking full EU membership, Carney highlighted the potential of strengthening strategic resilience through these partnerships.
